Calgary Game Developers Association(“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://www.calgary.games/ and https://www.indierodeo.com/ websites (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

Retention of Data

No third-party trackers. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad networks. We may use Vercel's privacy-respecting first-party analytics to count page views.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. We will never condition a child's use of our site on the child disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to use our website.

We will not collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18 (or the relevant age in your country/region) without prior verifiable parental consent. When verifiable parental consent is not obtained, we may only use the online contact information (such as email) to:

  • Respond directly to the child's request on a one-time basis and not use that information to re-contact the child for other purposes. Once we have responded to such request we will delete the information provided immediately;

  • Respond more than once directly to a specific request from a child and not used to re-contact the child for other purposes. We will use our best efforts to provide parental notification, which will include the nature and intended use as well as an opportunity for the parent to prevent the use of the information and participation in the activity.

Payments

We use PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors to ensure secure transactions. Payment details are handled directly by these third-party providers, and we do not store or process payment card information on our servers.

Refunds and Disputes All refunds or disputes related to payments should be directed to our support team by email at info@calgary.games. Refund eligibility and processing timelines are subject to our policies and any relevant third-party provider policies.

Security Measures We work with payment processors that comply with industry standards for secure payments, including encryption and fraud detection systems.

Transaction Records Transaction records, including receipts, are maintained in compliance with applicable laws and for accounting purposes. Users can request access to these records by contacting us.
